"This place is huge!" Goku says, his voice echoing around the room. And he's right. This place IS huge. What kind of pop star needs an entire city as their house?! This is insane!
"Welcome to your new home!" Zoey, I think, blurts out. "Kitchen is over there, and there's the bathroom, and there's the gym! And that's the closet! And that's the-"
"Zoey, chill out." the red one...Mira, says putting her face in her hands. I wonder how many times she has to do that.
"Okay...anyway, you can sleep on the couch!" Zoey says.
"What?! No they're not! They are not sleeping on OUR couch! Just look at them Zoey! No offense." Rumi yells at Zoey. Father, Goku and I just stand there. We could really care less about where we sleep.
"None taken." Vegeta says hints of exhaustion in his voice becoming evident. I just think he wants to take a sleep. First time I've ever seen him sound tired. Does he ever sleep at home?
"Rumi, unless you want them sleeping on the cold hardwood floor, the couch is their best option, unless you want to share a room." Mira crosses her arms, looking at Rumi with an exhausted stare.
It's late, so Rumi doesn't really fight back.
"Fine, you can sleep on the couch, but we only have ONE blanket. The rest are ours, so you three are going to have to share." Rumi tosses Goku a rolled up white blanket. It also looks to be weighted, so it might be a little better for my sleep. If I sleep at all...
"Ok...so..." Goku starts to say, but the girls take off to their rooms, before the lights shut off. "Oh...good night then." He then turns to us. "So... You wanna sleep?"
"Yes Kakarot, I want to sleep. I have fallen from the sky, had to fight three children, then had kill a bunch of demon things. The one thing I want to do right now is SLEEP." Vegeta slaps Goku on the back of the head.
"Ow! Alright then. Jeez..." Goku tosses out the blanket on the couch, and all three of us get ready to go to bed. I put down my sword and take off my shoes and jacket, and Goku and Vegeta take off all their uncomfortable stuff.
We then struggle to find a good sleeping position for 10 minutes.
"Kakarot, your foot is touching my head. Move your foot!"
"Trunks, your hand is on my arm!"
"Father, move your shoulder!"
But eventually, we do fall asleep.
When I wake up, I see Vegeta leaning against the wall as Zoey sits on another part of the couch and watches TV with such interest that you could think she is entranced. Goku is still passed out, and Rumi and Mira are munching on Cereal and looking at their phones.
"Finally awake, huh Trunks?" Vegeta says from his spot on the wall "Wake up Kakarot. The girls want to do some training."
Training sounds good, so I shake Goku awake. "Goku. Wake up. We're going to train."
Goku instantly shoots up. "Ooh! Training! I like some training!" He springs off the couch and puts his weighted clothes back on.
I hop off the couch as well, putting my shoes back on, but leaving my sword leaning on the couch. Zoey, reluctantly, pauses the TV, and Mira and Zoey finish their cereal, and without a single word, we all go to a big open room in the penthouse.
"Alright. So, we're going to warm up with some normal one on one fights. Three of us, Three of you, three fights. Sound good?" Rumi crosses her arms and looks at us like she's already one, slight smirk on her face.
"Goku, you'll fight Zoey, Vegeta will fight Mira, and I'll fight Trunks. No weapons, weird energy blasts, or hair color changes at all. You hear me?"
"Hair color changes? Oh... you mean Super Saiyan!" Goku says, putting his hands on his hips, clearly ready to fight.
"Yeah. Whatever." Mira says, not even looking at us.
"Loud and clear..." I mumble.
Me, Vegeta, Rumi and Mira all step off to the side as Goku and Zoey get set up in the center of the room.
"Father, you do you think will win?" I ask. A serious question, but I already know his response.
"For as much of an idiot Kakarot is, he still outclasses her. You just need to hope he doesn't hit too hard."
"Begin!" Rumi calls from the center, and the "Fight" begins.
And it ends right after.
Zoey falls to the ground.
Zoey falls face first, smacking the hardwood with a loud thud. She manages to stand up, before spiting on the floor, still holding her stomach, a bruise forming in the spot where Goku hit her cleanly.
"Oops...sorry." Goku says with an awkward smile, before helping her walk to the side. "I sometimes underestimate my strength. Especially when fighting. Sorry about that."
"Okay...next two, Mira and Vegeta." Rumi calls out from her spot on the floor. Still... It feels like she's underestimating us.
And they begin to fight too. But I already know in the back of my mind who the winner is.
And father does too.
Mira closes in for a quick jab, but Vegeta grabs her hand, kicks her straight in the chest, and flips her right over him onto her back, before pinning her arm underneath his foot, and holding his palm near her face.
"Embarrassing." He says "This is the best you have to offer? How are you even still alive?"
"Shut up!" Mira summons her polearm, but it's kicked away instantly.
"Pathetic."
"Father, That's enough." I pull him off Mira with the help of Goku.
"We're not trying to kill her Vegeta! It's just a friendly match!" Goku says as he helps Mira up to her feet. Mira's expression now being one of pure fury, but Goku is still able to keep her from mauling Vegeta (Or more accurately, trying to maul Vegeta.)
"Trunks. Me and you." Rumi says, stepping in the middle.
"Fine by me. I'm ready to see what you've got." I stretch in my spot before squaring off.
Author's note: Sorry I'm so late with this chapter! There was a lot of scheduling issues, but I was able to post it. I definitely will be able to post chapter 7 next tuesday. Stay tuned!
