Eudora sat on a bench by a raised platform with an almost empty tray of fudge. She had lost her self-control and eaten most of it, and the regret was settling in quickly. Eudora looked at her reflection on the black screen of her phone, seeing the chocolate smeared all over her lips and teeth. She attempted to wipe the fudge from her lips, but she was too horrified at the sight in front of her. "Piggy." "Fatty." "Gross." She wiped her tears as she went to pick up another piece of fudge, but she couldn't even look at the piece without feeling bile rise to her throat, so she put it back with a shaky sigh.

She was about to put her retainer back in her mouth, but she was quickly grabbed from behind and dragged onto the platform that had stocks on it. Her tears started to flow out against her will. She didn't personally know their faces, but to the people that do know, it was Lucas and his two lackeys. "Check out this greedy little freak," one boy sneered, wiping a finger over her lips to catch some fudge on his finger, he made a noise of disgust at the substance and wiped it off.

"P-Please, I need to get back to the–" Eudora stopped talking as the trauma, regret, and familiar gag reflex started to kick in, her stomach started to make noises. Eudora couldn't stop the bile that spilled from her throat, all over the boy, and got some on Lucas as well.

"You-! Come here!" The kid snarled, grabbing Eudora, and dragging her by the hair towards the stocks, attempting to fit her legs and arms into the divots to trap her in the contraption.

"Hey, Cumbergrounds!" The three boys turned in confusion to see Y/n marching towards them, dropping his tray at his post, "Leave her alone!"

"You better stay out of this, freak," the other lackey said, approaching him, "Or would you like another dent in your head?" Y/n responded justly by kicking the boy in the family jewels, just as he was taught to fight off the neighborhood gangs, and he recoiled in pain. The others ran over and grabbed his arms in a tight grip before he could do any more damage.

"Stick 'em in the stocks too," The other boy suggested. Lucas nodded and started to drag him until he felt nothing at all. Y/n was gone and had phased through them, onto the ground and out of their grasp. He released Eudora from the stocks, allowing her to get behind Y/n, who became opaque. The two boys realized that he had succeeded and Lucas pulled Y/n away from Eudora and onto the ground, punching his face and placing a strong knee on his diaphragm, knocking the wind out of him.

The other boy started dragging Eudora back to the stocks, when Wednesday stepped up onto the platform. "Howdy pilgrims," Wednesday walked forward and put his hand up to stop the boy from locking Eudora in the stocks once more, "Get your hands off of both of them."

"You want to end up in the stocks too?" The pasty pilgrim challenged.

"Remember what happened the last time we did this dance?" The boy scoffed and pulled Eudora out of the stocks, tossing her by the arm to Lucas. He trudged to Wednesday and put a hand on his shoulder, but Wednesday pulled him off, and kicked his leg, sending him to the ground. The boy got up, and threw a right hook, but Wednesday dodged with relative ease, trying to avoid looking at Y/n's beaten face. He tried to punch again, but Wednesday grabbed the boy's hand, cracked his fingers, then swung him around and threw him into the stocks and closed them, locking the boy inside. Wednesday looked up at Lucas and the other boy, who had just recovered from swollen balls, approached them, "Are you two still here?"

"I can't get into any more trouble with my dad," Lucas told the other boy with post-adrenaline clarity. Wednesday glared at Lucas as the two boys walked off, leaving their friend in the stocks. He knew exactly how to change that outcome, but he had bigger things on his agenda at the moment.
