The Hidden Friend

Chapter 1: Bye Ila

I woke wth a start. Why did I wake up? I looked around on my dark room, nothing!"Sarah, Sarah, Sarah" Why do I hear my name? This is getting creepy.

The voice sounds familiar, I can't put my finger on it. Who is it? I saw a figure coming to my bed, this is really creepy.

Wait, Ila? Why is my imaginary friend here? I thought her trip wasn't over. She is Chinese and went to visit family in China. "Sarah, I need to go back home soon. I wasn't supposed to be here." What? What is she talking about, this is CREEPY. "What? " I said. Ila just shook her head, " I need to go, forever. " I gasped, WHAT? Why does my best friend need to go?! "Why!" "I can't tell you, just find a new best friend. Bye"

With that, she disappeared into the night. I tried going back to bed thinking about our conversation. Eventually, I fell asleep

When I woke up, I thought last night was dream. Well, nightmare, they are like the same thing. But when I woke up, it all started to crash over me, the bang, Ila, all of it was real. Nooooooooo.

   Why did this have to happen to me? I was just a ordinary 6 year old girl, and my bestie just left me? Why? This doesn't make sense. Why would Ila just leave like that? It makes no sense. She did say I had to find a new friend soon, or Ila would. Be gone forever, (hopefully not)

   After I got up and dressed and brushed my teeth, I went downstairs to see my dad. "Good morning" he said. I just nodded and layed down on the couch. "Are you tired?" My dad asked. "Yea" last night was just to much for me.

  "Are you feeling ok?" I nodded my head at that question too. He just nodded and went back to his phone. After an half hour of watching Auther, I got ready and went out to the bus stop. My bus takes forever to get to my house so I ahev to endure my brother( he is a pain)

   "Sarah, Sarah, Sarah" he said over and over again. "What?" I yelled at him. He just looked at me if I was weird and said "Why did you yell what?" Huh? You were saying my name! I just rolled my eyes and looked at the field across from my house.
