First Impressions

chapter 3

Hi monty I got a detention so I can't meet you at the mall. Sorry xxxxx 

I slid my phone shut. I was in trouble and it's my first day how good is that? I sighed and walked to a science lab with the rest of group. It was going to be fun me three strangers and a cranky teacher. Get the picture? I sat down at the desk next to Chas which din't make sense shouldn't a nickname Charlie because Chas was short for Chastity. I sat there reading a magazine with my text book over the cover one of the oldest tricks in the book. I seriously didn't mind detention there was no point in going home because Mum had the keys and didn't so I went to someones house or go into town or have a detention. My phone vibrated loudly so I started coughing and gave Chas a nudge and she started singing ba ba black sheep. The teacher looked at us and offered me a drink of water from the tap. I got up and had a drink of water and sat back down. 

"Thanks I owe you one" I whispered to Chas

"It's fine though I think the teacher was a bit shocked.'' She said

I laughed. I actually thought Chas was ok she seemed really nice.

"So you got stuck with Alisha did you?" Isn't Tegan awful seriously" Chas said

I nodded in agreement. I put the book and magazine up to our faces so no-one could see us talking except for the guys behind us, Blaze and Arden.

"So what's the badest thing your've done?" Chas asked.

"Hmmmn definitely photoshoping a teacher and a student kissing in the disabled changing rooms" I said.

"Um did they find out that it was you?" Chas asked

"After the student had moved to another state they did" I said.

"Thats bad to think and innocent little girl did that" Chas said giggling

"Well I did prank call my geography teacher Mr Limey and said I was from some dating sit asking if he'd be interested in joining He said yes and he was fifty and liked women to be between 19-25. Which is plain gross so I called him a pervert and he new it was me so I got suspended even though they had no proof" I said.

"What about your Mum what does she think?" Chas asked

"Um she doesn't care if my grades are good and I always get an A for most things so yea" I said.

"The bad nerd" Chas said laughing

"Who's a nerd?" Arden Blazes friend asked

"Never mind" Chas said

I put down the magazine and sighed. Today was going to be a long detention.

"You know what why don't we bust out of this detention I'm slightly bored" I said

"My thoughts exactly" Blaze said turning around. 

"So what do you suggest?" Arden said.

"Well I'm guessing because most schools have a hall passes" I said

"We have to get a slip if we want to leave detention" Chas said

"So what if one of us said we needed to use the bathroom then we could get out of detention if someone caused a distraction that they had to evacuate then we would have to go outside and we could flee" I said

"Like the fire alarm?" Chas said

"Yea like that" I said

"But I was kind of thinking a lockdown but fire alarm easier" I looked at the roof

"But we've got sprinklers so we going to need umbrellas"

"I think I've got one in my bag" Chas said
