Chapter 34

Ella PoV
"Come back soon yeah? I hope to see you again too Ella, and hopefully my niece or nephew," Taylor pats Jason on the back and hugs me warmly then almost talks down to my stomach. I place my hand over it smiling along,
"Will do Taylor, it was lovely meeting you," I hug him lightly back.
"Yeah, in a few weeks time? Is that's when you'll be back from your 'business vacation?'" Jason playfully jokes. Taylor shakes his head,
"Sure sure little bro, sadly we'll meet after a few weeks," Taylor places his arm around me, leaving a warm weight.
Their mum cuts in,
"But, it'll mean that Ella will be that much closer to her due date, so it something we can all look forward too, Jason take care of her and yourself, we'll see you soon my darling," she kisses my cheek and I do the same, feeling a powdery yet soft gliding texture.
"We are, very exited scared but can't wait, I will inform you as soon as we are told of my due date," I hug her once more.
"You make sure you do," she smiles and then goes to bid farewell to Jason. Leaving me with Taylor.
He leans back on his shoe heel, his hand in his pockets,
"So?" We both say, then laugh in unison,
"Call me too, when the time approaches your due date," he hands me a card with the business logo at the front and his number at the back, I thank him all the same.
"Oh, and take care of Jason for me, he can be a handful but he seems to really warm up to a girl like you, he's quite lucky," he pats my head and gives me a brotherly gesture, a kind smile.
"Thank you, and I will definitely take care of him for you, I hope you guys talked things out," I say uncertainly, bending the card a little in my hand.
He gives a unsure look then scratches his neck,
"I guess we did, sibling quarrels are a weird thing, common but weird, you either forgive and forget, or hold a grudge, I have no idea where we stand right now, although I hope...its the first? Anyway, he seems much happier, then what he was, I've seen the way he lights up when he talks about how he wants to protect you and the baby? It's a remarkable thing, little Jason changing so much, it might sound a little cliche and pansy, going on like this right?" He laughs. I smile at his words but shake my head in disagreement,
"Not at all, your very modest," I smile,
"Ella dear? Ready to go honey?" Mrs Williams interrupts, I just nod Jason's way to show I'm coming. I turn back to Taylor,
"I'll keep in contact, in the meantime, promise you'll try and figure out what's best for you and Jason," I give him a one handed hug,
"Yes boss," he laughs.
"See you soon?" He says while showing me out,
"Course," I smile back while walking to the car,
"Come back after your appointment Ella dear," his mum calls to me and I give her a thumbs up.

"Taylor talking crap again?" Jason says while backing out the huge driveway,
I scoff as I buckle my seatbelt,
"No, mr grumpy, you play nice with your brother ok?" I try scolding him like a mum. He glances my way and shakes his head, laughing.
"Ok mum," he mimics.
"Hey Jason?" I look over at his concentrated face.
"Hmm?" He hums,
"S-should I be scared of...of, you know when it's the day of my delivery?" I ask. I watch as his smile fades and he tenses up. He grips the wheel harder,
"Why so sudden?" He tries to laugh, it sounds so forced.
"I'm just, kinda scared..." He looks over at my expression and pulls the car over suddenly.
He turns my way and scoots closer, cupping my cheek, bringing his head closer towards mine,
"There isn't any reason to be scared, I'm gonna be there with you, I won't let anything happen to you, ever," he wraps his arms around my waist, I bury my face into the crook of his neck. His outburst scared me but his words made me feel safe and at ease.
"I promise you," he whispered into my ears. I smiled as he kissed the top of my head. His embrace made me certain that he won't let go so easily. Not without a fight. But something inside me, said he was hiding something, that he wasn't telling me, talking to me about it...?

Short chapter at 785 words but wanted to leave it at this cliffhanger!!! You must be like, this annoying bitch is taking the piss!! Sorry guys!
