David pulled Steven farther down the hall into the same room, he had stayed in the last time he visited. Closing the door behind, he finally let go of Steven's hand and walked to stand at the window, his back to Stevens.

"Why are you so upset? You know I have to get back, I've got work to do."

"Steven....look, I--,"

"No, David... I came here so we could talk."

"Then, tell me. But don't leave in two days, please!"

God, I hate it when he begs. Makes it harder not to do as he says. Steven felt his heart melt for him.

"You know, for someone who hasn't spoken to me in a long time and probably never cared about me. You sure have a way with words."

"I care about you Steven, and even if I never called. There is no day that went by, that I do not think about you, and regret every moment I've caused you pain."

"Well, it didn't seem that way."

"I know, and I'm sorry....please forgive me."

"Fine, I will leave in five days."

"One week then, please Steven, one week."

"Then one week it is."

"Thank you so much, beloved."

"What?" Steven asked, shocked.

"What?"

"What did you just call me?"

That's when it hit David hard, what he had just let slip out of his mouth. Fuck....has he missed him so much that the thoughts of Steven agreeing to stay a week, could make him say things, that he had never thought of calling anyone. Let along Steven. What is going on? Is letting Steven stay longer a good idea? Wouldn't it be best if he left sooner? The air around them became an awkward silence as both men stood, each trying desperately not to look the other in the eyes. David broke the silence.

"D-Do you wish to stay in this room? Because if you don't, I think I have a better one. Just two bedrooms to mine and Raya's."

"This is perfect, thanks, David."

"Are you sure? I-I..."

"Its fine, love."

Now it was Steven's turn to shine a bright red." I knew I shouldn't have agreed to stay a week. Forgive me, RayaSteven thought.

"I'll be in our game room if you need anything."

"Sure, thanks again," Steven said doing all the best he could, to make sure no other slip-ups happened.

"This is going to be one hell of a week." He breathed out.

***********

Gladly both men have lived two days, with no more slip-ups and less awkward moments between them. Soraya remains oblivious to the whole thing. She was more interested in the fact that her husband seems a little, if not calmer and always happy. Even if it hurts her to know that some certain happiness, could only be given by Steven. It doesn't bother her. She wants her man happy and she is glad he finally is.
