Max came into his parent's room early in the morning. He walked over to Lucy's side and climbed on the bed. Lucy woke up.
L: hey baby
Lucy picked him up and laid him down beside her. She quickly looked at the time and noticed they could sleep a little longer.
M: mommy?
L: are you okay?
M: me sleep mommy
L: come here, mommy's got you.
He laid down on her chest with her arms around him. An hour later it was time to get up. Tim's alarm clock went off.
M: mommy?
L: it's okay, that's the alarm.
T: did Max sleep here?
L: only for a bit, he woke up and came here so i let him sleep with me.
T: oh okay
M: daddy?
T: yes bud?
M: me help make food?
T: of course, let's get ready first.
M: mommy help me?
L: yeah, babe can you please make me some coffee? I need it.
T: of course, did you sleep okay?
L: it's fine, just feel off.
T: i'm sorry
They got ready, Lucy helped Max get ready first. She noticed she had gotten her period.
She quickly got herself ready and got dressed in comfy clothes. She then got Sophie ready.
L: all ready little princess
S: thank you mommy
L: no problem, come on let's go eat.
They both went downstairs. Lucy went up to Tim and hugged him. He kissed her head.
T: i've got you baby and your coffee is ready.
L: thank you
Lucy looked up at him, he noticed something was up. He pulled her a little closer.
T: what's wrong?
L: got my period...
T: i'm sorry, it's gonna be okay. Let's go eat breakfast.
L: yeah
M: mommy okay?
L: mommy feels a bit sick.
M: oh, mommy get huggy?
He walked up to her and put his arms out for her and sophie did the same. She picked them up and hugged them.
L: i love you two
S: mommy be okay?
L: yeah, come on time for breakfast.
Lucy set them down and got them in the highchairs. Celina walked in too.
T: good morning, i've got breakfast for you too.
C: good morning and thank you
They all ate together.
Tim dropped the twins off at daycare and Lucy rode to work with Celina.
They went to work and had a normal day.
Once back in the changing room.
C: Luce, are you sure it's okay i stay with you?
L: you are welcome to stay as long as you need you can even make it your own little room if you want too.
C: okay thank you so much, i can make dinner tonight for all off us? I want to do something back.
L: that sounds good but you don't have to do anything back.
C: okay, i'll look for something and do grocery shopping now.
L: okay, is it okay if i drive back with Tim? I wanna get home and take a nap.
C: of course, are you feeling okay? You seem off today.
L: got my period this morning.
C: oh i'm sorry, take it easy.
L: yeah thanks
Celina did grocery shopping and made dinner when she got home. Tim and Lucy picked up the twins and got home. Lucy went upstairs and took a nap while Tim played with the kids.
C: dinner is almost ready.
T: okay, thank you
S: mommy come?
T: come we can get mommy for dinner.
They went upstairs.
M: mommy?
T: shhh
Tim walked in and saw Lucy dozed off to sleep.
Sophie and Max were already trying to climb on bed and lay with their mommy.
T: baby?
L: "groans"
S: mommy pain?
Lucy opened her eyes and saw the twins on bed with her.
L: hi
M: mommy okay?
L: mommy's not feeling well.
T: are you feeling any better?
L: not really
T: i'm sorry, dinner is almost ready.
L: okay
S: mommy huggy?
M: me huggy too!
L: come here
They climbed on Lucy's lap and Lucy hugged them.
L: my little babies
She kissed their heads.
M: me is a little boy not baby!
S: me is princes!
L: okay
T: we do really make the sweetest kids ever!
L: yeah
Lucy teared up
T: i know baby, one day it will happen.
Tim gently kissed her head.
L: i love you and our family so much.
T: me too
M: mommy me hungry!
T: come on, let's go downstairs.
The twins got off the bed and ran away.
T: no running!
M/S: sorry daddy
Lucy got up too and quickly hugged Tim.
T: i've got you
L: thank you
They kissed and went downstairs too.
Sophie already walked up to Celina so she would carry her. Celina had picked her up.
S: auntie stay?
Lucy and Tim just walked in.
C: uh
L: yes, auntie is staying with us for a while.
S: yay!
T: if you need any help decorating your room here or anything, let me know.
C: i will, thank you
T: no problem
Tim put Max in his highchair and Celina put Sophie in hers. Celina noticed Lucy's red eyes.
C: are you okay Luce?
L: just emotional
C: oh sorry
L: it's fine, i'm grateful for what i have but sad to feel like somethings missing.
C: i know i'm sorry, if you ever wanna talk about it i'm here!
L: thank you, same goes for you.
C: i actually do have something.
L: wanna talk tonight?
C: yeah
L: okay, no problem.
S: mommy me hungry!
L: sorry, let's go eat
They all ate dinner together.
Tim sat with the kids watching tv while Celina and Lucy cleaned up.
C: so uh i called to make my first appointment. It's in a few weeks but i was wondering if you would wanna go with me?
L: oh uh yeah, of course i'll go with you.
C: really?
L: yeah, if you want me to then of course i'll go.
C: is it not to hard for you?
L: i'll be fine, when is it?
C: it's in my calendar, i'll send you the date.
L: okay
Tim overheard and looked at Lucy, checking if she was really okay.
Lucy noticed and gave him a weak nod.
C: well that was it, didn't want Sophie or Max to ask about it.
L: yeah, do you wanna tell them when the time is there?
C: i don't know yet, you and Tim are the only ones that know now and i wanna keep it that way for a while. Need to wrap my head around it and figure some stuff out first.
L: i get that, i'm here for you.
C: thanks, but please let me know when it's too much for you.
L: i'll try
C: okay
Max had fallen asleep on the couch and Sophie went over to Lucy.
S: mommy?
L: yes princes?
S: mommy help me to bed?
L: are you sleepy?
S: hm, me wants mommy.
L: okay, i've got you.
Lucy picked her up and walked over to the couch.
L: i'll help Soph to bed.
T: okay, i'll carry this little one to bed?
L: is he asleep?
T: yeah
Tim gently picked him up.
M: daddy?
T: shh i've got you bud.
Tim helped Max to bed and Lucy helped Sophie get ready for bed.
S: mommy come?
L: what's wrong?
S: huggy?
Lucy laid down on bed with her, Sophie laid down on Lucy's chest.
S: mommy stay?
L: i'm right here
She kissed her head.
S: mommy sad?
L: yeah
S: mommy it's okay
L: i love you baby girl.
She wrapped her arms around her daughter, they laid like that for a while. Sophie drifted off to sleep. Lucy carefully got up and laid down in her own bed for a while.
Tim noticed Lucy hadn't come back downstairs so he went up to check on her.
T: baby?
L: hm
He saw her curled up on bed with tears streaming down her face.
T: i'm here
He sat on bed, by her side.
L: i don't feel well
T: i know baby, i've got you.
He kissed her head.
T: it's too much right now, you need some time for yourself.
L: don't leave
T: i'm not going anywhere. Can i do something for you?
L: hm
T: do you wanna get ready for bed and cuddle?
L: "nods yes"
T: okay, come on
He wiped her tears, they both got ready for bed.
They cuddled up in bed, Lucy resting on his chest with his arms around her.
They both fell asleep after a while.
Lucy woke back up in the middle of the night and ran to the bathroom. Tim got up and followed her. He held her hair back while she threw up.
T: i'm here
She leaned back after a minute.
T: let's get you up
They got up from the bathroom floor, Tim handed Lucy some water. They went back to bed after. Sophie came to their room.
S: mommy sick?
T: yeah, did you wake up?
S: yes
T: let's get you back in bed?
S: me give mommy huggy?
T: okay and then back to bed.
Sophie climbed on bed and gave her mom a hug.
L: thank you, baby
S: night mommy
L: night night baby
Tim brought her back to bed and laid down with Lucy again.
T: good night baby
He gently kissed her cheek and held her close.
L: night
They fell back asleep.
