War takes many casualties and it just so happens that the Potter family are three of them and while Voldemort is defeated and life does go on, many survivers deem the new wizarding world too dangerous and move themselves and their children elsewhere. With the 1st year class of 1991 very different, Albus Dumbledore must find a new set of heroes to counter the suspicious new dark happenings.

Amara Lupin is the so-called daughter of former Maurader, Remus Lupin. Amara has been homeschooled her whole life. But when Remus is offered a job at Hogwarts he is forced to bring her along for her own adventure as a fifth year student. Nadine Gwynn Black graduated from Durmstrang Institute for Magic at the top of her class in 1990. Her mother, her only known living relative, passed away shortly afterwards and she moved to Romania to live and work with her best friend, Charlie Weasley. There was no one and nothing keeping her in England. Years later, Charlie and Nadine receive word from Albus Dumbledore that four dragons are needed for the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. The two of them bring the dragons to Hogwarts and become entangled in the happenings of the Triwizard Tournament. Nadine falls in love with life at Hogwarts and wants more than anything to be able to stay. Her dragons are her life, but something in her gut tells her that this is where she's meant to be.

When he hears that seven Korean students will be staying with him and the Weasleys before school starts, he is genuinely ready to die.
