After what seemed like a normal day on her spaceship, Captain's ship has it's gravity regulation turned off. After cautiously moving around her ship she fixes the problem but finds another one instead. Who is this intruder? How did they get so far from home? Most importantly, how did a human get this far out in space?

I woke up in a metal cell, wearing some kind of black jumpsuit and bulletproof vest. It was strange that I knew the room was metal, or it was a cell, when I couldn't remember my own name. Or where I came from or what I was doing here. The room was tiny. My feet touched the door when I lied down. I stood up and pushed the door. Solid. Locked. It wasn't meant to be opened. I stepped back and analysed the situation. One - if it was not meant to be opened, it had to be opened. Two - I didn't know what was outside. Three - I didn't want to be locked up. The third reason outweighed all the others. Instantly, I knew what to do.

Sam is a curious young Microsystems engineer with a mundane tasks of getting coffee and writing reports. One day she makes a discovery that could alter the universe, unsure of what to do with this information she escapes on the first ship leaving her colony. Unbeknownst to her this ship belongs to a notorious group of space pirates. What will happen to her once they discover the young stowaway, and how will Sam handle these rough but devilishly handsome pirates?
