Kitridge and Katherine are orphaned adopted sisters living in the future United State . One word to describe the country now: chaotic. The U.S. had fallen into Civil Wars and now lay in ruins. A dictator currently rules with an iron fist, not caring what happens to the country itself or its everyday mass murders and robbings. Both Kitridge and Katherine, or KitKat, as their friends call them since they're inseparable, decide that they can't and don't want to live like this anymore, so they come up with an idea ... to leave the country and flee to Canada. The only problem? All borders are barricaded and under close surveillance, letting no one in and no one out of the chaos. Follow these two and some of their friends as their tale of the unthinkable happens ... Escape.

He runs from love, calls fear freedom, and hides behind silence. The Little Man is not small in body, but in spirit. A fragile mind behind a calm face. A disappearing act performed with charm. He builds walls and names them peace. Wears masks and calls them truth. And when he finally looks back, he realizes he's alone - not by accident, but by every choice he ever made. A series of quiet, haunting stories about fear, self-sabotage, and the intimacy he never dared to hold.

"You're bleeding, but it's not blood," she once told me. What are you - "Don't play dumb," she interrupted. "You're bleeding, badly. "How is it obvious to everyone except you? You need help," she once told me. "For your own sake." Shut up. Stop talking. I don't need help from anyone, okay? I know what I'm doing. Everything's under control. ~~~ This is a story that probably should've gone to the vault-locked away and never to be read by human eyes, but that probably would've been burying the wrong thing. This is my worst work so far.
