Poetry for Dummies

Rather than having all of my short fiction stories posted separately, I wanted to have a place where I could compile some of them, especially the particularly brief kinds of works like flash fiction or micro fiction. It'll also save me from having to spend so much time on cover design, haha! [That cover may look fairly simple-even minimalist-but it was no minor feat to assemble.] Hopefully these pieces will inspire people, make them think, and just plain cut through all of this craziness, bull, and dishonesty floating around.... Think of it as the prose counterpart to my "Havoc In Heaven" poetry collection.

Why can't I be free just because I'm black?! Why do I have to go through pains just because I'm black?! I always thought God created all of us to live together, but down here, it's DIFFERENT! I'll forever wait for the days that a black child can peacefully play with a white child. The days where black, white, yellow, brown and all other colors of human being will eat from one bowl. The days where my trophies will be handed to me and not taken away from me because I'm black. The days where I can walk on the streets in the night and won't be killed because I'm black and probably won't be outstanding enough to be seen in the dark. ____________ "I'LL FOREVER WAIT..." #blacklivesmatter!

THIS IS NOT A STAND ALONE BOOK. IT IS A SEQUEL OF CRUSHING HURTS. PLEASE READ THAT BOOK BEFORE THIS. Breaking love circle, healing hearts. Love is a beautiful rose. We smell it's pleasant smell and adore its lovely colour during joy and get pricked by its thorn during sadness. Everybody needs love. A loveless body is nothing but a living corpse. But this story is not completely about some lovesick people, it is about people who find their inner peace. Siya never had the courage to speak up and was forced to do everything based on other's decision. She feared judgement. Shyam couldn't understand that his obsession was the thorn that will tear his flesh apart. Arjun always gave up most of his for others not knowing they belong to him. Aarna was that one girl whose beauty and smartness were her biggest liability. Will they find a reason for living or be stucked in the hopeless love circle? Let's see.

-In this poetry, a baby bird experiences first breath, first life, out of her shell, brothers, and sisters, and so on. When hatching she must grow, before she leaves her home, just like a gate. When gates are locked, the only way through is with a key that unlocks that gate. Tis; like having parents be the guard of the gate, earn the key and you may leave. -By growing.- So, will this baby bird know how to use her strategy and balance through this, dark unknown universe? Before she can pass, she must become the best... Fear here, Fear where? Fear could be anywhere....
