I did the right thing. Even if I die, I know my best friend will be safe in district twelve with her little sister. As long as it stays that way, it will all worth it. The games changed them physically, emotionally, and mentally; not only will they have to deal with the struggles of re-adjusting to a new life, but a brewing rebellion and with the status of their relationship.
