What if Lord and Lady Capulet had arrived sooner and ran into the Capulet Tomb? What if Juliet had been stopped from joining Romeo in death? What if she ran away from home, took shelter in a haunted castle from the storm and realised a new fate? Along the way of the saddened heroine, she meets Mercutio the first ghost resident of the castle; together, the two bond over their differences as Juliet realises that Romeo and her weren't meant to be. ♡{7.11.2024-👻}♡

Modern day and language and an au where each character at least have one brain cell brain cell unlike the play. This will focus on the relationship between Benvolio and Tybalt. The background will continue the story of Romeo and Juliet but will start to change drastically in chapter 2. Hope you enjoy. Note I am probably going to change the title a lot until I find one I like.

Romeo and Juliet, the epic lovestory where the lovers die. But was that really necessary? did they really have to die to unite their families? was the deaths of their only children enough for them to finally forget their enemity? was it worth it in the end? or could there be another solution? could they actually have a happy ending like all other stories? could they announce their love freely without having to fear their family's wrath? could their love actually conquer all?

This is a rewrite of the very iconic balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Instead of Romeo leaving after their conversation was finished, Lord Capulet instead hears a masculine voice outside his yard, to be specific near his daughters balcony. Guys don't take this serious, I made this cause it was an assignment and I quite liked it. I do not own Romeo and Juliet and never will.

"So, what are you going to dress up as? "A character from a book," I say, vaguely, Lea playfully responding, "Knowing you, it's not just any book...hmm. Let me think..." Tilting her head in mock contemplation, index finger at her jaw. We'd always do this, it started when we were kids, and a person on our favorite tv show (who had terrible acting skills) would always do that when she was thinking about something 'real hard.' "Knowing you, it has to have a classy style to it, I would guess 'the 3 musketeers', but that's not all your forte, probably something dramatic..." Spreading her arms out wide, in a eccentric gesture, "and romantic, or better yet, a forbidden romance," Wiggling her eyebrows. Giggling, she knows my favorite books all too well. I roll my eyes, " For where art though, Romeo-Of course I knew you'd pick Juliet."

Romeo and Juliet is my personal favorite story, and I find it hard to understand at times, too. I loved the 1968 movie so much, I personally forced myself to learn fluent Old English before I could read the actual play. So, while doing so I decided to not make my friends I would beg to read the story do the same, and I wrote my first variation of this solely for a friend. Now, I thought on and decided more people might even need it... Because of -School -Your friend wants you to read it -You want to read it but can't Or anything else... So, here is my official "translation" of Romeo and Juliet. :) NOTES: 1) If you want me to translate any other story that is in Old English, let me know and I might post a story, maybe even dedicate it all to you :) 2)None of the videos I put on the side are mine. Perhaps vampires were myths from long ago. Perhaps they were not and their stories untold. Lily was not a Capulet, she was soon to be Montague. Love at first sight, the most naive love she had, for a cousin of Romeo whom lived not in Verona for quite some time. But her mind had been changed as her heart fluttered down a different path. Her sun-filled eyes gazed upon her lost love's enemy. Perhaps her love would become true? Will she wed the Capulet, or the Montague? But deathly pale flowers bloom in her heart, for her lovers body was human, as hers was not.

Romeo and Juliet with a modern day twist. Since it's the future things are different, Juliet is a 14 year old girl with a rich family. One day her parents hold a party which ends up being the best night of Juliet's life. This is my first story so sorry if it sucks. I just got really inspired when I learned in class that Juliet's part had to be played by a male since women didn't act. P.S. it will probably not be historically accurate. I do not own any of the images used in this book unless I say other wise, the ones I use belong to the rightful owners. However I do own the plot and characters and the cover image. In the story of Romeo and juliet a feircly loyal Capulet Named Tybalt show loyalty to only his family through the whole play contrary to nearly every other charecter in the play so what would such a loyal fellow think of the rest of events after his death? Would he hate is family? Would he accept it like everyone else in the story in the end? Would he call them fools? Why had he killed Mercutio? Was he going mad throughout this whole story? only one way to find out....READ!

This is just a little number I wrote for English class, but where else is it gonna go if not on Wattpad? I have to kick-start my writing career somehow (I'm kidding I want to be a lawyer). This is a short story about Rosaline's life while Romeo and Juliet were falling in love. It is loosely, LOOSELY based off Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. I am aware that things are not in the right order in some places, I took creative liberty (i was so tired of rewriting the scenes) and i wanted to make it my own (seriously it is so much work to make things line up). Ever read Romeo and Juliet? This was a class assignment I did. We had to write a break-up letter from Juliet to Paris. I will give you two versions. One is normal-sounding and the other is written in the Shakespearean language. That's pretty much it. I'd be surprised if anyone actually read this lol.
