When Ma'am Anne first walked into the classroom as a substitute teacher, Elle already decided she didn't like her.
Maybe it was the way she spoke too gently.
Or how she noticed things others didn't.
Or how her presence felt... unfamiliar.
For the first few days, Elle kept her distance-answering only when needed, avoiding eye contact, convincing herself that this was temporary anyway.
Because it was. Just two weeks.
But somewhere between lessons, quiet conversations, and moments that didn't seem important at first, something changed.
Elle found herself listening more.
Noticing more.
Feeling more.
And that was the problem.
Because just as she started to understand Ma'am Anne,
it was already time for her to leave.
Now, with only days left, Elle is faced with something she never expected to feel:
Attachment.
The kind that doesn't make sense.
The kind that comes too late.
The kind that hurts when it ends.
In the limited time they have left, Elle must decide,
should she keep everything to herself...or finally say the things she knows she'll regret not saying?
Because some people don't stay long-but somehow, they leave a mark that does.
