There was a story after chell left and Wheatley became human but in the Aperture lab there is a old core that was human and is broken down. ???: and th-that c-core is m-me.....

"A voice echoed. He didn't know where he was, and what was going on. He tried opening his eyes, but all he saw was a hazey white light, and a black outline of two figures over him. They moved over him, holding objects, and moving around his right side. There wasnt any pain, he didn't feel a thing. It was strange, he felt like he should feel something, but he didn't. A small tingle could be felt on his arm though." William was one of the many unlucky few who were in the Apeture Science Lab. He managed to escape, parts of him that weren't how they were when he came. He found a small town, and worked in the wheat fields , adapting the name Wheatley. After adventuring deeper in the wheat fields, Wheatley had found a small shack. It has spat out a woman in an orange jumpsuit, and he knew exactly where she came from.

A facility dedicated to science fallen to ruin, robotic voices speaking every so often, the only life within being the vegetation coming to reclaim the land. This is what (Y/n) woke up too, being in a deep sleep for a unimaginable amount of time with no memory of where they were or who they were ..how will the react, how will they survive? and why the hell were the so small?

It had been fifteen years since Chell was freed from Aperture. She started her life as a normal, functioning member of society. She even had a daughter. However, what will happen if her past foes try to drag her and her child back to her old life? Will she be strong enough to save her daughter from the same fate she suffered?

After surviving her battle with GLaDOS, Chell wakes in Aperture Science and makes another escape attempt. Meanwhile, after his ordeals through City 17, Gordon wakes at White Forest and tries to recover the Borealis and Judith Mossman... Or at least, that was the plan. The unexpected throws Chell, Gordon, Alyx, and Barney down paths toward inevitable consequences.

Space, that's where I was, exactly where I was and where I thought I would be for the rest of my measly existence. Up here, in space... pondering my own thoughts.

Short one shot. I imagined if Wheatley had anxiety, it turned to fluff but that's what I like to write when I'm anxious.

After being thrown into space Wheatley's first reaction is unmeasurable anger. After everything he had done for her how could she have done this, but being stuck gives him plenty of time to think.

I'm still here, Chell. You've left, forever; and I'm still here. Perhaps my messages were not obvious enough. Perhaps my murals did not impress you. I'm sorry for disappointing you, Chell. Please come back for me.

"Nightmares eh? All full of...angry, scary things. Brilliant." A core by the name of Wheatley is unlike the others. He befriended a test subject, took over GLaDOS and put her in a potato battery, got portal-ed to space, and became a human. Again. Yes, you heard correctly ladies and gentlemen, a robot personality was once a human, stripped of their bodies and plugged into a computer. Fun stuff, huh? Well, much like many humans, Wheatley gets nightmares. But not just any regular "Oh no, scary stuff!" type of nightmares, these are...special. Have you ever had a dream where you couldn't tell if it really happened or not? Imagine that as a nightmare. Scary stuff. Along with the fright of such things, he usually has them about his best friend Chell dying, with his own death soon approaching after. Not the sort of things you would think a happy, silly, child-like grown man to have. [ Rated #21 in the Portal tag. I'm honored and impressed, thank you all so much for the continued interest. ]
