Set in the near future, the world has fallen to a mysterious calamity known as the Great Collapse. In order to fight the monsters that began emerging around the world, humanity created the Revenants: human corpses brought back to life by implanting a Biological Organ Regenerative (BOR) parasite within the heart, acting as vampiric fighters with unique abilities. Because of this calamity, Louis lost a precious person when he was a human. But when he became a Revenant, he lost most of the memories of when he was still a human. Losing those memories helped Louis stop his feelings of guilt that pierced him even deeper. But on a certain fateful day, Louis encounters with a peculiar boy, who for some strange reason seems familiar to him. This boy will be the one who triggers the tragic memories Louis has forgotten.

After Fighting Silva and narrowly avoiding Frenzying thanks to Io, the Successor of the Blood and her loyal attendant find themselves waking up in Vale and bumping into team RWBY, where Hijinks ensue. meanwhile, The other Revenants set out from the Gaol to find their friends.
