The region of Neomenia is a peculiar one. It's a small region, and the moon shines brightly, so much so it shines even throughout the day whilst the sun is out. Because of the beauty and size this region has, there are no gyms. Rather, contests are the main, spectacular attraction here. Trainers in Neomenia often become talented coordinators, and those that don't move to other regions to pursue their goals. This journey is not unlike the rest, with an aspiring coordinator. However it shifts into a peculiar tale of surprise, wonder, and above all, Potential.

14-year-old Gina has a great dislike of both people and Pokemon, all due to a harsh betrayal from the past. After a walk and a fateful encounter she ends up stuck with a Pokemon that she just can't let go of, and vice versa! After this Gina sets out on a journey, meeting new friends and regaining what once was lost as her old dreams of being a Coordinator are revived. She and her new group encounter new experiences, new rivals, new Pokemon, and even faces of the past, and even as she wants to deny every last bit of it, Gina finds her heart opening itself up to forgive once and for all. To finally give life a chance.

Ember Storm is a 13-year-old boy from Jubilife City in the Sinnoh Region. Ember is a Pokemon coordinator. After failing his last grand festival he entered in the Johto Region now he travels to the Hoenn Region to enter the Pokemon contest for his third grand festival and continues to follow his dream. Along the way, he makes new friends, and rivals catches new Pokemon, and even finds romance with a beautiful redhead female from Team Rocket.

When May finally left Petalburg, she was but a shadow of her former skill. She must find her own strength again if she were to defeat her rivals and become a Top Coordinator. To add fuel to fire were rumors of a new villainous team lurking in the shadows of Johto. Boarding a ship to Johto, her new beginning, May explored a whole new world while realizing her feelings for a certain rival of hers who kept giving her roses and pushing her to be better.
