Some believe that the changing weather and the fracturing of their civilization were due to the population explosion caused by CO2 breathers, who do not breathe oxygen but instead breathe CO2. The middle social group secured the backing of billions of donors, allowing them to build their shelters and survive. However, only ten people managed to survive in the end.
