The world didn't end with a bang-it faded, Tree by Tree & River by River. By 2040, nature is gone, replaced by Artificial & Synthetic Food and controlled environments. People survive, but they don't truly live. On her birthday, Saanvika witnesses a world she never knew existed- Lush Forests, Fresh Food, Real Life. And for the first time, she feels something stronger than sadness- Responsibility. Because the future of Earth may lie in something as small... and fragile... as a Seed.

Something is destroying the rainforest, and Mogli doesn't know what.

The mysterious species, Faun, guardians of the forest, face losing their home due to human interaction. Only one lost Faun knows of what humans plan to do with their home, but can they stop the humans from their deforestation project and alert humans of their species existence in time?

If so, then this could be what he needed to heal his mother from a strange mental illness. However, to get his hands on it, Mr Olum must clash with a famous, more powerful and wealthier family known to have descended directly from Ndahura, a legendary king of the BaC'wezi.

A tragedy leads wolf cub Saluki and her sister Loki to join a pack of wolves living in the lush forests of Asgeird Ridge. But the incoming threats of a rival pack and humans start to take their toll on the pack.

This is a poem about deforestation. We kill what we love to write on.

Silt from the soil is washed into rivers, polluting them. Even if trees are replanted, they take years to grow back. Deforestation adds to the greenhouse effect, as rainforest trees help to control the climate. ..

A research center of captive Gibbons in a current study on the cognitive effects of marijuana long term use hold a discussion. On this particular day they watch as the laboratory's sign is changed to reflect a new mission. The youngest Gabriella becomes upset what this means for them. All born in captivity, they are entertained with TV. A program hosts an offensive guest attributing the whole purpose of the Creator's intention for humanity to do at will. The eldest Gibbon Maximillian forces a discussion to put Gabriella at ease. In the process they discuss humankind's happiness given this special place, why are they destroying everything out of greed. They come to a conclusion from the title.

This is, as the title indicates, a collection of incredibly short stories, each only about 500 words in length. Some were written years ago, some not so old. They're not my best work, but simply just a sample of my writing over the years.
