Cassie Bertarelli dies- and wakes up inside the fantasy novel she used to obsess over as a teenager. As the villainess. Elodie Valmont: beautiful noble daughter, professional social disaster, future dead girl. According to the story, her role in life is very simple: obsess over the Crown Prince, make everyone miserable, then die dramatically and clear the way for the real heroine. Elodie decides almost immediately that this sounds deeply embarrassing for everyone involved. Especially her. But avoiding the plot becomes a lot harder when the fantasy world around her turns out to be far too interesting to ignore. Because the kingdom is filled with dragons, glowing gardens, living magic, dangerous politics, impossible creatures, and people who feel far too real to remain side characters in somebody else's story. And unfortunately for fate- Elodie has never been very good at standing still while things fall apart around her. And while the plot twists into something darker and loyalties begin to fracture, Elodie finds herself standing alone between a kingdom that doesn't understand her... and a war that was always coming. Because this time- She isn't playing the villain. She's fighting one. Content Note: Slow burn. Sharp tongues. He can't bear the sheer pain of the loss and just as he starts to truly believe there is nothing left for him, he meets a Greek boy who radiates pure warmth and love. With this newly found soul, he finds his purpose again - but not without a few struggles.

That is a star, not sure which, but the combination of it and the telephone wire remind me of how I felt when I wrote parts of this I use different styles in my writing, so if you don't like the format or content of one part, you might like the next part more!
