The sound of put putting could be heard about half a mile away from the small gas station, the young brunette headed girl glanced out the window, just in time to find the source of the bothersome noise. An average sized rust red colored, square bodied pickup truck pulled into the 2nd gas pump. As the shadowed figure behind the tinted glass of the drivers side window moved forward, what she assumed was reaching for the keys, the put putting of the truck stopped. With the old rusted trucks whining now silenced all that was left, was the quiet hum from the highway as vehicles continued to pass by.
