A soul is given two choices: It can either reincarnate into the world of Mass Effect with the powers of The Gamer, or it can be sent to another world and be reborn. One is a normal, ordinary life. The other is one of overpowered-ness. Obviously, it chose the funner option. The cover is just Sparatus' quotation marks.

My first thought was that I should go home and get help. But then another vision flashed into my head. My mother disappearing. I half hoped I was just hallucinating, the other half of me hoped she was gone and I was free. I was confused, but not as confused as I was at the sound creeping into my subconscious. Some mechanical noise, like a car that wouldn't start. There was another noise after that stopped. Footsteps! I turned over onto my side to see who it was, but regretted it. I winced and grabbed my head, the pain so unbearable there were tears piling up in my eyes. I looked up at the man and stared blankly, there was something......... odd, about him. I immediately felt safe. He bent down and looked at me, he looked worried, but I couldn't really tell through the blur. He didn't speak, just looked me in the eyes and tilted his head. I could just stare at him, my mouth wouldn't open. My eyes started going black. I felt my head dropping this time. I couldn't stop myself fainting, but I felt the man caught me and he lifted me up; and started carrying me towards a blue phone box.... When Becky meets The Doctor, strange things keep happening. People and aliens vanish off the face of their planets, and she finds things she never knew about herself deep down. Can she and her new friend, The Doctor, figure out and put right the universal cobweb they've discovered?

The Serial Effect. Short for the serial position effect, it's the tendency to remember things in the beginning, and the end, while everything in the middle is forgotten. Like the story. It begins when the girl meets the guy, and ends with either the break-up or make-up. But what about everything else? What about the middle? What about the quiet talks, stolen moments, the pranks, the friends, the bumps in the road, the small moments that make the story theirs. Jassilinn Flinn, or Jas, is starting senior year as nothing more than a shadow. Only intent is to survive until she can graduate and start her life for real. Until [insert semi-cliché meeting here], and she rapidly becomes caught trying to handle a shifting social chain, overzealous girls, family, school, future, and everything that comes with high school. This isn't a story about how the guy gets the girl and they frolic off into the sunset. It's about the guy who finds the strength to let someone in, the girl who never had the courage to take a chance, and what happens when the middle story becomes more important than either the beginning, or the end. (A/N) The Serial Position Effect is a real psychological term, the definition here is loosely translated, but the idea is the same. WARNING, I have no updating schedule because I have lots of school to deal with, along with a part time job, and a variety of other thing. I try to update as often as I can, but sometimes there's not much I can do... Sorry about that. thank you Thank You THANK YOU! SO SO SO SO SO MUCH Xoxo_keana for the awesome Awesome AWESOME new cover :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Seriously, she's awesome! :D
