When sadness seeps into your skin, you begin to drift. As much as you try to brush it off, you can't shake the coldness. And he notices. He always does. Wooyoung is gentle, understanding... warm. He's the light that softens the heaviness in your chest, never letting you carry it alone. This story is close to my heart as it draws on my own feelings and on pieces inspired by other writings and songs, helping me navigate these emotions. I wrote this story to feel comfort, to imagine someone taking care of me even in my sadness. Wooyoung is my bias from ATEEZ, and because of his caring personality, I thought that he would be the perfect "main character" for this story. If you relate to this or not, I hope it also brings you some comfort and warmth.

Devika Raichand was once a girl whose laughter could light up a room. But one tragic night took everything away,her parents and her 2 year old brother, leaving her alone in a world that didn't want her. A girl who thinks she doesn't deserve love, happiness. Now, she lives in a house of shadows with her Chacha and Chachi. They were supposed to be her second parents, but instead, they became her tormentors. To them, she is not a niece; she is an unwanted debt. "You are nothing but a mistake!" Her Chachi's voice rings out, followed by a cold strike of a rod. "A mistake is nothing compared to the curse she brought upon this family," her Chacha spits, his eyes full of hate. After years of being broken and bruised, Devika has stopped crying. She has stopped praying for help. Now, she only prays for her end, her death. But her Chacha and Chachi have one last plan for her-a forced marriage to a man she doesn't know. Advait Malhotra is about to marry a woman who has no heart left to give.

They carve their meaning into time, steady and undeniable. Where words may wander and disguise the truth, actions reveal it quietly, step by step. Two years ago, I started writing poetry seriously. More than a hobby, it became an escape, my form of reflection, confession, repentance. Now, two years of introspection later, my life, shared with all who may wish to venture into my mind.
