In my story, everyone is in highschool. Everyone are friends, but Vector and his only friend, Espio, are a class of their own. They can find the smallest fault in someone and use it against them. They were the bad apples in the tree. And now, a new blossom starts to form on that tree. A transfer student named Silver. A fragile soul, and the soon-to-be golden boy of the school. A fresh blossom is also seeming to grow where Espio fell off. The old him starts to rot away, and a new him begins to grow. Something about Silver changed him. I am using apples as a metaphor for everyone through the story Warning: Vulgar language and mature themes ahead.

"What's going on?" The creature asked. The professor looked at the computer. The data...the numbers were off what they should have been. The results were not supposed to be like this. This was not supposed to happen. The Ultimate Life Form, this prototype, the one that was supposed to be perfect, failed yet again. He wanted to immediately destroy this one, destroy yet another one that failed. But like with the original, the old man couldn't bring himself to do it. The professor took in a swallow, typed some commands into the computer to stop the process. Espio truly was wonderful, and just maybe, he helped Silver be wonderful too.

Silver learns that chameleons are able to change their colours at will, and is itching to see this with his own eyes... If only Espio would share in his enthusiasm just a bit more. What colours can the other show him, and what do they all mean?

In which Espio really wants to go to sleep, Silver really wants a bedtime story, and the tales behind the Chaos Emeralds and their powers are laid bare.

Espio POV: Espio is a freak in his school. Not only is he an orphan, and is adopted by a cruel and awful couple, but he's also the target of the bullies, especially Scourge the hedgehog. Sometimes, he wishes someone would just wake him from this nightmare. But what he didn't know was that he was gonna meet a kind hedgehog to love. Silver POV: Silver is a popular student in his school. Sure, he has a normal family life, but he's the head of the soccer team, and constantly hogged by fangirls. But he only want someone who likes him for what's inside his heart, not his body, just like a girl he once knew. But that someone would come sooner than expected. Note: this is sorta inspired by "bullied as a freshman," by my dear friend, @Katthecat1202. Hope y'all enjoy!

Silver is a fourteen year old hedgehog that gets bullied at his high school for being the only one who doesn't know combat. But little does he know, he will find out that he has a crush on a certain purple sixteen year old chameleon named Espio, who will change Silver's life forever. Warning: This story will contain parts that are really not meant for little kid. I suggest not reading this if you are under thirteen. You have been warned Also, this is my first yaoi ship fanfiction, so I decided to do it on my favorite yaoi Sonic ship, Espilver.

Sonic's friends are all skilled fighters, and plenty competitive on top. But some more than others... and when it comes to Silver and Espio, their competition about who was the best and bravest and coolest in their most recent battle might take an interesting turn.

One day during meditating, Espio had discovered he can apparently read minds. As resident psychic, Silver needs very little time to figure this out.

Teaching Silver how to read has been the best and worst decision of Espio's life. OR Listening to facts about chameleons is always appreciated, except when your very literal and naive boyfriend decides to apply them in practice.

"Of course we'll take care of him," Vector had promised when Espio came racing to the Agency with the unconscious form of the hedgehog in his arms. "We survived Charmy, this'll be a piece of cake! You'll see, he'll be the sweetest and cutest li'l lad to take care of." Unfortunately his and Vector's enthusiasm had been... somewhat misplaced. Because Silver had turned out to be the most impossible toddler to take care of *ever*.

With bated breath Silver lays as silently as he can, hardly daring to have his chest rise and fall and the only movements he risks making being a slow caress of his hands against the precious charge that lays bundled against him. It's simply too adorable: Espio, fast asleep and with shimmering silver covering his scales.

Attending his first ever Halloween party, Silver dressed as a knight he runs into an all too familiar chameleon who's taken on the role of a poet. Espio offers him a dance, and having the chance to do such a thing with the ones he likes, how could Silver possibly say no?

If there is anything Espio and Silver are bad at, it is being subtle; if there is anything they are worse at, it's coming up with halfway decent pick-up lines to explain to Silver just how they work. Good thing they are too endearing and in love with each other for anyone to mind.

Everyone knows what a chao is, right? Those small adorable childlike creatures, some are even pets, while there are tons of chao gardens out there that some have even sometimes not been found and kept secret. But what if there is a special chao? Almost like a, lets say, a cupid chao? It takes a appearance of a Hero Chao, and when two people are together, close to a chao garden or in the area at least, and if that chao comes up to the two, bringing lots of other neutral good chaos with flower crowns. That's a sign. A sign that those two people are fated to be in love with each other. But what if this happened to two rivals? Is this really fate for them to be in love with each other?
