Friends, that's what they used to be called at least until the world was divided. Each friend separated, names changed and forced into a different type of living. Each one of them barely remembers the other, until two people collide and cause trouble within the factions. Where will all this trouble lead, will it lead to them meeting again? Or will this incident cause them to be farther apart?

Thomas Smith is a Candor with secrets. He is in love with a nameless Amity, which is not excepted by the faction. He now must learn to deal with a forbidden romance outside of his faction, one that will either lift him up higher than he has ever been, or tear him down.

I wrote this for English and figured I'd share. It is Uriah Pedrad's eulogy from Tris Priors point of view. While writing it I often positioned myself as Tris as I am very fond of Uriah. Was hard as a fangirl to write this, the feels were crazy and I may or may not have cried during the process. Unedited Version. Changes Pov's. Setting: This story takes place mainly at AACDE High School. Beatrice Prior, a shy sixteen year old girl from Chicago moves to California with her father. Her parents had got a divorce & Caleb, Beatrice's older brother, was forced to stay with their mother in Chicago. Beatrice's father forces her to attend her junior year as a high school student at the beginning of second semester. Let's see where this story will take her. Will she meet new friends despite her personality? Will she fall in love? What will happen when Caleb comes to visit? What will happen if she's separated from the others?
