Paris, France, 1889 Exposition Universelle Paris is a thriving city, bathing in the spotlight of international attention in light of its most recent achievement, the Eiffel Tower. The tower is a pinnacle of architectural ingenuity, and it represents the drive and pride of the French. It also houses the most dangerous magical artifact in history. Few know of the Tower's hidden weapon, but magicians who do have to be on high alert. That power in the hands of the wrong people could destroy Paris. When corpses are found in Paris' catacombs, a group of magicians rushes to the maze of bones to see what's going on. Perhaps the murders were simply that, or perhaps they were signs of something much worse.
