A collection of poems I have written.

I remember playing cops and robbers as a kid. We would run around the yard, chasing each other with sticks made to be guns. Arguments would break out on whether the cop tagged the robber running from the bank. Red marks would glow from our wrists, showing where our rope handcuffs would sit. Bases were announced at the beginning of the round. Straws were pulled assigning roles to each kid who had wandered into the playground. Mouths imitating gun noises echoed through the yard. Sticks bobbed up and down in innocent children's hands, following the sounds bouncing back and forth between kids. I never thought that one day, those guns would become real.

A story about a fresh graduate who's stuck at his house this summer, without his friends to accompany him. All was unwell until he got to a party and met a remarkable girl. A series of mistakes has led him to different situations that he never thought would've happened.

August just found this out -- That according to his obituary, he is to be buried on November 3rd, 2018 (a day shy of his 55th birthday). Find out what really happened to him on the night he checked into the Red Horizons hotel. August's story has been submitted as a contest entry for THE KEY thanks to the @storytellerssaloon on Wattpad. Letters between two young lovers during WW2

Penny Conrad is ready to get some space between her and her parents. So when a letter comes in the mail saying she has inherited her elusive uncle's bed and breakfast, she couldn't be happier. But between keeping odd guests happy in a cold small-town (nothing like she had become used to in Florida) and the handsome gentleman who stays at the B&B, nothing goes as planned. There is just something about him. He has that charm and chivalry that no man seems to have anymore...and she is out to find out his secrets. But will she still feel the same way about him when she finally uncovers the truth?

This is a short story that came to my mind in the shower. I think it shows the life of a girl/woman and how some can feel or go through the things I mention. I think some may relate to this and enjoy it. I wrote it quite quickly, so please leave any suggestions; I am open to anything you have to say!!! Also, I'm thinking about also writing one from the desk neighbor's perspective, but I'm not sure yet.
