Musings is an anthology of poems and some are short stories or creative essays. I poured my thoughts into paper, ink purged into my veins, writing helped me in expressing my emotions, and it made even more in control of them, makes me more relaxed, and to have faith in myself. This my period of thought as a shy teenager before, each step and decisions in my life, and also my experiences in friendship, love, and life. The reason that I decided to make a compilation of my write-ups to have a sense of bravery in sharing my thoughts and be proud of who I've become until I reach my dreams. As confident as I am now I will never lose my self -resiliency, because through this life narrative of mine and the words in this book, it rekindled my flaming passion that have a impact in my existence, as continue to achieve my dreams that I'll surely make it a reality.

The phone rang and immediately my stomach dropped to the floor. I knew something was wrong. You know that feeling when you're on a rollercoaster as you feel weightless and your guts churn as you revel in the pause that comes before the sharp plunge? That's what it felt like as I listened to the tune play on. There was something in the ring tone that sounded ominous to my ears only. Mia looked at the random number light up on my phone and gave me a puzzled look as I finally started reaching for it.
