"When the star-flower blooms beyond its mountain, The one who endures shall mend the fracture of worlds. Neither sky nor stone shall sway her heart, For through her steps, the frozen paths shall thaw." Astraea Edelweiss has always dreamed of seeing her favorite flower in real life. She never imagined it would find her. One star-shaped bloom appears overnight in her backyard-and the moment she touches it, Astraea is hurled into a world of magic, prophecy, and danger. A realm built on a prophecy meant for a savior she is not. The Keepers admit their mistake: they summoned the wrong human. The realm is fracturing. Winter spreads unchecked. Monsters slip through cracks in reality. They want her gone. But Astraea refuses to leave. Not to fulfill the prophecy-but to rewrite it. She discovers the truth long buried in ancient scrolls: the prophecy never said "he." It said: "The one who endures." In a world that rejects her, with fate stacked against her, Astraea must defy magic, challenge myths, and prove that endurance-and courage-has no gender.

It's Silver's birthday! ...But it's kind of hard to celebrate just three days after someone goes missing... I decided to experiment with a fic in a first person pov (my character's pov, of course). Because my birthday is only a few days after Gary got kidnapped by Herbert and a few days before Operation: Blackout, this isn't an entirely happy fic. Don't worry, it's not nearly as brutal as the fic I wrote that actually takes place during the Blackout (check that fic out btw I'm going to post the last chapter soon so stay tuned)... Also, alcohol is mentioned in this fic. Yes, alcohol exists on the island in my lore (if you read my Operation: Blackout fic, you'd know that). Yes, the characters are old enough to drink at the time of the Blackout (2012) in my lore. As mentioned in my "Operation: Blackout Excerpts" fic, Silver is 22 and Rookie is 21. Everyone else in the EPF is either around that or older (Gary and Aunt Arctic are significantly older, obv lol). I made the Club Penguin drinking age 18 because even though I'm from the US where it's 21, one side of my family is from Germany and they have three drinking ages: 14, 16, and 18 (it's actually kinda interesting, look it up). It's a compromise. Also, wouldn't a penguin's "birthday" technically be called a "hatchday" (omg Hatoful Boyfriend reference /j)? Since, y'know, penguins lay eggs? Whatever, I'm aware of the song "It's Your Birthday!". The penguins in Club Penguin use the word birthday. ... Actually, screw it, they can use both if they want to because it has the same meaning. I'm adding that into my lore and the fic LOL.

Selissa doesn’t remember anything from before she came to live at the temple. With her lost memory follows the mystic symbol on her back. Despite not knowing anything about it, she has never thought it had any significance. But how will her views change, when a strange traveler comes to the temple and tell her that that symbol makes her the target of a demonic clan? And what will she do to stop them? --- From now on, the full book will only be available as paperback and ebook! Thank you so much to everyone who gave me feedback while I was writing and editing it! Without you, I doubt it would have ever been published. Be sure to look out for promotion weekends where you can get the ebook for free on Amazon! Don't forget to check out the sequel, Silent Sound, if you already read Resounding Echo. All feedback is appreciated!
