What do a wannabe Slovenian rockstar, a Greek coming from a family of historians, an Austrian who always carries a MP3 player with them, a Serbian who's enamored with the Danube River and a Romanian who speaks no Hungarian have in common? They all aspire to graduate the most prestigious music academy in Budapest with the highest honours! Miruna Munteanu has trouble adjusting to changing schools and countries, but wants to pe an amazing piano player. Ian Horvath knows nothing about classical music, yet wants to become a rockstar so great that girls will go wild after him. Kostas Papadopoulos and Maria von Bülow don't even think they belong here, the latter having no musical talents. And Sonja Nikoliç dedicates all of her serenades to the Danube River. Those misfits are bound together by a twist of fate: their love for music, the past masters watching over them and a set of mysterious letters.

Mercenaries aren't an uncommon thing. Brought into the military and are paid to fight. But not everyone is a mercenary full time. Louis Marquis Hamilton is an example of that. Sometimes paid to fight, other times he is hired by a contract to exteriminate a 'rodent'. A young French man who has lived a life no one should. Intelligent mind and gifted in the use of guns. Sought out by most to remove certain enemies in the political world. But that all changes when he gets accepted into a prestigious high school on a English literature scholarship. Hiding the fact that he kills people for a living was hard enough already, but gets increasingly more difficult when he is thrown into the chaotic world of the ouran host club. Not use to being around people who weren't dead, Louis didn't know how he'll manage his time here in this crazy place. ----- Haven't written a fanfic in ages or a book in general. Forgive me. So I may rewrite this summary later.

The thirty-ninth entry of the 2020-2021 Film Journal is "De Jueves a Domingo". Sadly the only other foreign language film this cinematic year beyond anime and "The Bund (1983)", I first confess my self-disappointment in my film selections this year, reflective of this unhappy year's general sense of broken promises. Then, I examine the intriguing filmmaking and atmospheric nature of this Chilean film: the first from this nation I have ever seen.

I made this for anyone trying to learn Spanish! Since learning cultures is a big part of learning a language, I have included different traditions/food/phrases/etc. from countries in Latin America and Equatorial Guinea. Notice: I am Salvadoran so I'm probably not familiar with any of the other countries' traditions and food, I researched it. If you are from any of these countries and noticed a mistake, please tell me in the comments. This book is to keep track of my notes and hopefully help some other people. These books are not to make you fluent in languages (because I am also not fluent) but they are to help me and others with grammar, vocabulary and culture knowledge and make it easier to learn.
