Athena Hart thrived under pressure. She lived for the thrill of procrastinating until the day an assignment was due, it was a drug to her. Meaning, it didn't surprise her parents or her uncle, Christopher Hart- the legendary surgeon- when she chose to pursue emergency medicine. The ER was the most chaotic, pressure-driven environment in the medical field. But it did surprise them when she told them she was moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hated the (sadly) sharp jawline that flexed when she did something better than him.
Everyone tried to ignore their bickering, but tensions rose to a new level when a new intern and medical students arrived. One with a very keen eye for inconsistencies. What happens when that one intern brings everything to light?
