When you read poetry out of a different kind, it twist your mind over into accepting realities.

Many of us say that we are proud to be an American, but do we even know what that means? Do we understand how blessed we are to live in a country that gives us freedom, and do do we realize that freedom comes with responsibility? I want to share with you what it means to me to be an American Citizen. I want to help you understand how important it is to show some respect for the country and what it stands for. I am not always proud of the decisions that our politicians make, or the way that our fellow citizens act. But I am proud of the freedom, the liberty, and the equality that our great nation represents. I am not always proud of America, but I am, and always will be, proud to be an American.

Thoughts, poetry, short stories & more of a woman in her 20's trying to make sense of a world that doesn't make sense while healing from broken promises, trauma, mistakes & unrealistic expectations of harsh reality. From insane asylums, being misjudged & never understood to trying to find purpose in a world of distractions. Like it or love it. Learn from it or not. Growth is a journey. This is the beginning & the rest is still unwritten.
