I crafted this novelization in poetic form in order to exude the sentimental tragedy concerning the abuse of power dynamics in a rule-breaking relationship. This style encompasses all seven types of literary conflicts, through implication, exclusion, and both verbal and nonverbal communication. Do laws legislate morality, dictate it, guide it, codify it, or abide by the code of ethics that exists within every social contract? After the self-destruction of an unbalanced relationship, the young adult heroine wants to repair her gas-lit mind with academics. She thought that she could trust her teacher. Did he misguide her? Have you ever been in a toxic work environment where the boss is a charismatic, gaslighting entity, whose claws pop out when she suddenly realises that you are no longer playing her games? To add spice, she carelessly promised nothing short of greatness to external clients (without your knowledge) --even if it were work that the organisation simply does not do! Her refusal to acknowledge operational realities and limitations was simply reframed as "challenges." Whatever she promised, she was poised to take all the credit. If anything went wrong, it was due to YOUR failure to rise to a challenge! She simply took no blame! Her lies were carefully thought-out deflections to hide from her managerial deficiencies. This is my story and how I dealt with this situation.

It began as sharing-until it became calculation. From abacus and ledger to accounts and passwords, we sliced not only money, but trust and time into numbers. Computers made it faster with 0s and 1s. AI made it believable-with faces, voices, and perfect documents. We thought checking meant safety. Then checking became the trap. A life is lived long before it gets a name. He was first a baby-then a boy, a young man, a husband... and finally, a late-blooming police recruit. When the fake functions exactly like the real, what collapses isn't fact- It's a belief. And once revenge learns to wear "proof," no one walks away untouched.
