Mental Thoughts As I Begin Facing Things Alone. In Poetry Form.

Ever felt afraid to talk to someone? Ever felt suffocated by the world? This short (really short) story is about someone who does, and is trying to fix what started years before. Note: not my best writing... sorry it's kinda rough.

The fear of being like his parents keeps Noble Macklin from living his life to the fullest, but he's determined to not be like them. Can he overcome his fear, and break the generational curses that are haunting his life?

This story is also on AO3 under "Mental" by Aech 110 Sam (Sam felt that everything that he ever did was what caused him and his brother to be stuck. Sam has suffered. He's lost a lot. Growing up with only a brother and no permanent home. Just Dean. He's hurting and it's not going away. It never went away.) I felt like it was all my fault. I didn't want to feel sad anymore. Just for once, I wanted that hole in his heart to filled. Destruction. Pain. I hurt. Everybody died. Everybody died because of me. I had hope. But what else of me is there left. Dean (Dean felt that he was not worth saving. He felt that he could have done more. Raised Sam differently. Helped him more. Maybe they would have never ended up here if Dean was better himself. Sam was Dean's world. Dean was always there for Sam. Taking care of him but Dean doesn't know what to do anymore.) Am I worth it? No. I will never be worth anything. As long as I have my brother. That's it. As long as he lives. I was supposed to watch my brother suffer. Dad was never around. It was just me and Sam. I can't lose him to his mind. I can't lose myself. Why does everything have to feel? I don't want to feel like this anymore. I don't want Sam to feel like he can't do anything anymore. Castiel (Castiel was a part of a cult. Making everybody believe that they were angels of the lord. He was a soldier. He was supposed to keep them safe. Then Castiel started to question. Question everything. Castiel grew up within it all. And then he got out. But he wasn't "normal") I am an angel of the lord. I am Castiel. I was supposed to save them. Their lives were on my shoulders and I failed them. I failed all of them. They all fell because of me.

Her father leaves them when she was around eight. Then her mother brings in a new guy, Jackson. Star thought her world would change for the better but its just the opposite. And now she is being accused of the murder of Jackson. Star had to go into Foster Care and separated from her sibling. Even though she misses them all like crazy she falls for the boy who lives at the home. Hayden has his own dark past but Star finds him adorable and falls head over heels for him. Can the two of them make it or will they too be separated from not trusting and believing in one another.

Gerard's life is a travesty, his mom is a drug addicted. His step dad abuses him. He hasn't had a friend since 3rd grade and going into his junior year of high school he starts to develop some bad habits.

Perhaps cliche, but an angry moment is best flowing out of a pen or into a keyboard rather than staying trapped inside. This is a safe space for survivors of all kinds, but note that there is a trigger warning for implied abuse, verbal and otherwise.

Mental health problems are a growing public health concern. They are prevalent not just in the UK, but around the world. The rate at which Mental health issues are increasing are alarming. I myself suffer with a mental illness, anxiety to be exact and I understand what it's like to suffer alone. I have wrote this book not only to help others with mental illnesses, but to show people that even though people have mental illnesses, we're still people at the end of the day and we still feel things like everyone else we're no different. I want people to understand what having a mental illness means, it's not just something that can be turned off or ignored. I have recently been doing a course on psychology, and have learned so many different things, I have learned to look at mental health in a different light. To anyone suffering from a mental illness or watching a loved one or friend deal with one, you are not alone. It's very important to remember that, help is always out there, you just have to be brave enough to ask for the help.
