As the title probably says, this is about the batfam, some details might be changed.Warning: this contains graybat, Blair Todd, timsteph, and pixamian so if you're alergic to cuteness and perfection, do not read.

Based off the amazing comic by the same name. I'd recommend reading it before you read this, as I'm not sure how much justice I do for it. I just found myself sensing underlying motives and hidden meanings that weren't clearly represented, and the third person limited POV left me feeling like something was missing. So I've taken it upon myself to rewrite this story from multiple first person POVs (Primarily Babs, secondarily Dick, and others). Follow Barbara Gordon, freshly out of college, as she begins her long and entirely unexpected journey to becoming the vigilante known as Batgirl. (and what it looks like from others' perspective!) Being the fangirl I am, there's a very romance-heavy subplot between Dick and Babs, and it's... well, you'll see. This is my first fic, constructive criticism and ideas are more than welcome! Please tell me what you think. (whether I finish this or not is going to depend upon feedback, as I tend to lose motivation unless I have people relying on me. So if you like it, please let me know and I will definitely continue!) I apologize for any errors or OOC-ness. Obviously I do not own the characters, universe, or even the plot to the story, I just tweaked a few things here and there. All of that belongs to DC comics.

"Turn around now." His voice was stern and you could tell that he wasn't playing around, but neither was Dick. Not when the one woman he had ever truly loved lay dead next to him. "No." "This goes against everything I've ever taught you, Dick turn around now!" He glared at him as his finger hovered over the button to disable the communication and tracking systems. "I don't care, I'd break all the rules for her. In a heartbeat, but you wouldn't understand that would you?" He let out a sadistic laugh that shocked the man that had once been his mentor. "You've never cared for anyone or anything, except the mission. The mission comes before everyone, even your own flesh and blood!" "Dick that's not-" He disabled the communications.

They're best friends. Best friends who sleep with each other. That's all there is to it. (right?)

Dick and Babs were always best friends, even before the capes and cowls but since joining the team Dick is very.....different. Can Barbara find the Boy Wonder she has grown to care so deeply about or is the dynamite duo no more that a memory? I don't own DC comics or any of the people in the story or a red velvet milkshake. Starfire used to be in Teen Titans and also used to have a crush on Robin... But she was forced to leave Earth and the Titans to return to Tamaran and get married.... Three years later, she returns to Earth after a civil war that destroyed her homeland and finds her fellow teammates changed and very many new ones... And Robin??? Now is Nightwing and is in a relationship with Batgirl, Starfire's friend, for two years.... What is she going to do???? Will she adjust to this new reality???? Standing up, Dick stretched, his shoulders popping as he pulled them behind his neck. He was still wearing the uniform Slade Wilson forced him into, except now there was a messy blue Nightwing sigil across his chest and shoulders courtesy of Dick's more creative side and a can of spray paint he confiscated off a potential vandaliser a while back. Even though not much made sense to him right now, fighting did. So with his usual cocky grin, Nightwing crashed through the window of apartment 35. He didn't have his escrisma sticks but made do with his fists as the men scrambled for a miracle. One by one they went down until only one man remained conscious.
