Taken from earth when she was a child, Rue was raised as a scientific experiment with Rocket. After escaping to their freedom and becoming friends with Groot, they spend their days roaming the galaxy, earning money as bounty hunters, and escaping from prisons when necessary. When a new bounty gets them stuck in prison yet again, they must team up with Peter Quill, Gamora, and Drax to make break out and try to sell a coveted orb. That orb turns out to be more trouble and brings them into direct conflict with Ronan. Will they survive the true power of the orb and the annoyance of each other? Updates every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday This story follows Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and the chapters are split up by what I thought would work best along with a certain word length. In fact, Aeryn's mother was close with Yondu, and was very protective of Aeryn, which caused her to not be allowed to do anything the average Ravager work. Hence Yondu always tasking Aeryn with one job: Hunt down where Peter Quill was running. One day, Yondu gives Aeryn the task to hunt down Peter after he stole one of Yondu's jobs. And from then, that would change her life.
