Love can overcome all, but every so often it needs a little bit of assistance. Kelbrix and I were lucky enough to have assistance from the goddess Hagora herself. Let me share with you how it happened. A direct spinoff story from my previous published work, Immortality, however I don't believe Immortality has to be read in order that this short tale can be enjoyed. This is a short story featuring Lok and Kelbrix, two characters, one ogre and one halfling, introduced in chapter 16 of the main Immortality story. A short note of reminder, the characters are NOT human in any way, and in this world, both halflings and ogres reach the age of consent at 14 years old. Aspen is a girl who was abused by her family then kicked out of the kingdom. Little did her family know she had powers to control elements ( cant make then but can control them ) the dragon see she is special and take her as their queen Shira was orphaned as a baby and lives deep in the forests taking care of all of the forest beasts, she has powers to talk to animals and is a fawna (transformation into objects or living things) What happens when they meet?

Every academy has its reasons for attending, usually along the lines of previous academic excellence or military achievement. Military achievement has become one of the most important factors for choosing an academy. Especially when your very existence creates a military situation. Apparently magic is a curse, rather than the gift that is was intended as.

This is a story loosely based on D&D. There have been some creative liberties taken for storytelling purposes and for my and my teams enjoyment. [There's something stirring in the recesses of Exandria, a general unrest, and it seems to be stemming from one place... or rather one being.]

Life is not worth living, but Vivien has a goal. In order to achieve that goal, she will do anything. Anything. Wait, hold on, anything is too large of a--oops, it's too late. Events after events formed a whirlpool of confusion, dragging her deeper and deeper into a mess she cannot free herself from. Vivien did not ask to be part of a war, and she certainly did not ask to be included in mission save-the-world. Before she knew, she’d changed. Before she knew it, her wounds started to heal. Not quick enough. Her broken heart is put on test once again, and this time, Vivien wants to survive.

The letter ended abruptly. The elaborate introduction was nothing compared to the blunt 'conclusion'. Even though the ending was voiced in so few words, it held an indefinite meaning. It was as if the writer had been rudely awaken from a dream without any trace of closure. All Alethea knew is what the conclusion implied, and that scared her.

Normally that's not a big deal, except that she's a Halfling, and only elves are allowed to become blade dancers these days. To make matters worse, Artemis has found only one elf that was worth a damn, and now he's dead. If she's discovered, she's dead. If she fails, her mestari's soul is doomed. And as if things weren't complicated enough already, the hiisi, half demon half something else have been found far away from their normal hunting grounds. Is it just a coincidence or something more?

Halflings, a type of being that holds both a human and animal's spirt. This hidden world of Halflings, had gone through several wars, with the return of species that attacked this world almost a century ago, will the new Halflings survive in a chaotic world? Raven, a wolf and human, new to this world of war, begans to question how she lives, and now hopes to put a stop to this century of war.
