The lantern maker, Scipio Razven, is on the run when the Rouge Sunstroyer attempts to steal a new lantern powered by a mysterious, alien liquid fuel called the Autumnix. The chase continues in the Xsimr world where the Glittered Inktraitor and his alternate self, Casmiel Doronai, seek the assistance of swordsman Killian Decuir and his son Drave Decuir, the Fairy Queen's envoy. Together, the Glittered Ink Duo and the Decuir family follow Scipio's lantern in outer space, hoping to acquire the liquid fuel, before it falls into the vile clutches of the Rouge Sunstroyer.

While searching for help, Mara is captured by a fairy named Ireyna Roseshimmer and taken to Killian, who is overjoyed to reunite with his daughter. Mara learns of her father's knowledge of alternate worlds at the same time Drave learns of the fairy's involvement with an energy manipulator. The Decuir siblings and Killian work together to stop Ireyna from a precarious endeavor. A bittersweet consequence results from a simple wish gone awry, though a father's love always remains, even in another universe.

as the Second Solar War ended in 2456, Kodiak would have fought all across the system from the Asteroid Hopping Front to the main front. He has at least 50,000 kills to his name, and was known as "The Spirit" by his men. He was such a dangerous man by 2476, and by this point he served as an important Spec Ops Agent, while also finally creating a business before all this, after serving for 26 years straight.

The Drift: a colorful metaphor for the empty space between stars and planets, more closely describing the ever-expanding nature of galaxies and the universe itself. As a colloquialism, it is typically used to reference the gravitational currents and eddies running through the bleak, black nothing. The earthclader (A species with was designed to best habitat earth or a pan-humanity creature that weren't modified much) civilization "The Constructive Horde" are now in turmoil whether due to internal feud or the ongoing war with another earthclader civilization "The Hopeful Nation". But one could say they were absolutely crushed as all their sites were invaded and either pillaged or conquered. The remnants of the Constructive Horde take refugee in non-inhabited areas or in the sites of civilizations that are friendly , at least for now.
