Like a moth attracted to flame, we are so drawn to something that can ultimately destroy us. It is human nature. We only realize we came too close when we get burned...and no one to blame but ourselves.

Vee Rodrigo had a gift or perhaps a curse of seeing the truth behind other people's sleeping minds. To her, a dream wasn't just a dream; it was a blueprint of their fears or a map of their future. But there was a wall she could never climb her own. While she could predict a fire in a friend's home from a single shared story at a roadside bar, her own dreams remained a bloody, fragmented blur. She could save everyone else, but she was deaf to her own warnings. But what if her nightmares aren't a warning of her death, but a rehearsal for his murder?

This is not a love story, nor a simple retelling of events. This is an analytical essay series exploring the psychological and emotional dynamics within the Beast Yeast arc of Cookie Run Kingdom. Through the lens of Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk, this work examines how even the purest intentions can become suffocating- how "saving" someone may come at the cost of their identity. Because not all light heals... and not all darkness needs to be erased. This is not a story about heroes and villains, but about the complexity of light and the consequences of salvation taken too far. Could they perhaps let him.. be free?

It was there, sitting in the warm, bright light of the setting sun--the sun that was simultaneously getting darker but brighter, more intense than before--that I wanted to write poetry more than I ever had in my life. So I did. (If you want to guess what they're really about, that'd be interesting. To see all the different interpretations. After all, that's what poetry's about.) The majority of things happen off camera. They eat, breathe, sleep, and do everything normal people do on a day to day basis, but we rarely see all of it. Most of their off time is spent lounging around, staring at social media platforms while going outside to hang out with friends and go shopping every once in a while. Plopping down on the couches as another hard day of dance practice ends is a common occurance, for nobody has the energy to do anything more. They have eyes in the back of their head, watching over us like security cameras do at stores. They smile at the supportive messages people leave on their Twitter selfies, they laugh at the basketball memes that even a lot of them had no idea about. They make fun of each other like most best friends do, it's how close they are to one an other, a brotherly attachment. Their music videos and choreography filled with love, compassion, and such story, connecting everything one at a time, giving hints and gawking over theories. Nobody else but them knows the story, the story they created, the story based off of past experience and a common message that too few people have seen and heard. What happens when the story comes true? Would the theories all make sense now, or are there unanswered questions that not even they can answer. This isn't a story anymore. It's up to them to determine whether they can overcome this as a group or get lost in separate ways, only to cross paths again to find some sort of miracle. These movies that everything references, the books, the articles, the monologues and lines from books, are all coming true, one music video at a time.
