With only a couple of weeks before Christmas, Aaron Hotchner can't quite put himself in the mood to celebrate. David Rossi hears about this and decides that it just won't do. He invites himself to help Aaron get in the holiday spirit; Aaron can't really say he's disappointed by the intrusion.

Things keep changing and the team isn't sure if they can keep up in the fight for their lives everyone must adjust as people they think of as family come and go. ~situation with Will and Henry will be explained, set in season 5, Ages are not canon, contains some mature themes. Blake, Prentiss and Elle are all at BAU at the same time. ~ships are Hotchniss, Jeid, Blossi and MorganxElle ~Blake's husband is dead cause I said so.

After Foyet killed Haley he kidnapped Hotch and Jack. The team does everything to sage them, but will they be fast enough?

Elizabeth Bartlett is no ordinary woman for exactly two reasons. Reason number one, her father was a Profiler for the FBI in his day, so she knows a thing or two about the art of deduction. Reason number two...her best friend shot up their high school. She showed kindness to Randy Slade, and how did he return it? He let her live while he killed countless classmates. She became one of the faces of the terrible incident, and she hated every second of it. When she was finally able to move away from the limelight, she moved to Quantico, Virginia and began teaching at a Public School. One of her favorite students is none other then Jack Hotchner. Concerned about Jack's parent involvement, Elizabeth calls a meeting with Jack's father. There are some misunderstandings, and the two don't exactly get off on the right foot. However, you tend to forget the little things when you go back to your High School reunion only to find that someone is carrying out Randy Slade's hitlist...and her name's been added to the roster.

This is just basically a story of after Aaron Hotchner left the BAU that ive came up with. Im also going to let you know this is a dyslexic who has never wrote a story in their life asides from primary school... so any gramatic errors im sorry lmao... anyways here a brief: After leaving wittness protection, Aaron finds himself choosing over a job or keeping him and his son safe, he grabs his phone, reluctently makes a phone call to say he has decided to leave. Jack is more important and Aaron would rather give him a great life instead of worrying that he may be in danger, he may of have had Haley in his mind making the decision, because after what happened with Foyet, he doesnt want to lose another person he loved whilst working a case. Making this desision was never the easiest and Aaron would have never have thought of the day where he would have to leave on such short notice, part of him was thinking about changing his mind however he knew the BAU would understand his choice with no judgement involved, so he hopes anyways.

I haven't written stories in a long time, so be gentle with me. I need requests, please comment what you'd like to read. I do all ships of criminal minds. I also do triggering stories but will put trigger warnings before the stories. I do fluff cute things, and smut as well. After all, for all people knew, Sam Brooklyn was a man living a comfortable single-dad life of early retirement in Boulder City, Nevada, and only helping the older ladies of the neighborhood with their gardens for some extra cash. Which, in a way, wasn't all that far from the truth since Aaron had had to give up his degree in law, not being allowed anywhere near a job even remotely related to the government or law enforcement. Besides, in the witness protection program, the government did help Aaron pay for most of the stuff that he and his son needed and, considering how much he had actually done for them, it was fair that he would indulge now on the help that they offered him now, right? So, yes... Maybe, for someone on the outside, Sam Brooklyn looked like a man wasting away his potential, but Aaron Hotchner didn't, and, as long as Jack was happy, he didn't particularly care.
