Maximum Stories

Shot down, kidnapped, chipped, caged. We were nothing but guinea pigs to them. Sometimes an experiment would be a complete success (just like mine), but if it failed they'd just leave you to suffer until you die. Every day, me and Phil would wish that we could escape and go back to our normal lives, despite us being turned into mutant "freaks". Would the world even accept us like this? ~~~ NOTE: The events in this book take place after the book "Max". Sorry for anyone who likes "Fang" and onwards, but honestly, I just can't stand the rest of the series from there and how the series ends (*SPOILERS* although I love the Fang story, I just hate that Fang abandons the Flock at the end). So this is set in an alternative world where "Fang" and every story after that doesn't exist.

You guys know the infamous story, but this is a twist, this is a retelling of the famous story. My name is Kassidy Ride, I'm the third oldest in the flock, and I'm here to tell you our story, my version, because it's a tad different then Max's.

Max and Fang are sucked into the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Follow them as they go through the tale, and run into a few familiar faces... (This story is based of the book, not the movie! There will be some differences! Also, it mentions some of the things that happen in the books. I'm sorry if it spoils anything for you. There will also be some differences from the Wonderful Wizard of Oz since some things, like Dorothy's behavior, definitely do not fit Max.) I do not own Maximum Ride or the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
