Instead of confessing his newfound love for her, he bullies her. But why? And what might his career have to do with it?

Adagio successfully fixed the relationships between Sunset and all of her friends, but she still has one more relationship to try and mend. After finally getting a day off, Adagio goes to talk to her friend, Apple Bloom, hoping to find forgiveness. Apple Bloom may be hesitant at first, but the young cowgirl gives her a chance to earn her forgiveness. This is for a competition created by CriticForYou. It's a short story competition where we're given a topic every week to write a short story. I hope everyone enjoys these!

HOW NOT TO REACT WHEN YOU FIND YOUR MATE "One, this guy was most definitely my mate which led to two; things just got entirely more complicated because three; this guy was Tristian Dell' Aquilla who four; everyone had warned me to stay away from because five; not only was he the Alpha's son and Nate's brother, he was also one of the most powerful wolf's in the pack and horribly dangerous (he certainly looked it) which, you know was kind of inconvenient because six; This guy was my MATE" She has a motto; Always think positive, after all, there is nothing to gain by dwelling on the negative. She's moved half way across the World to be with the family she'd never heard of before. But this is the way it has to be, the way it needs to be. She's thinking positive. She has to reinvent her life here, start anew, start afresh. Even if she's finally with people just like her, it doesn't make a difference. The past is still looming over her, lying dormant, just waiting until it can lunge back into her life and create chaos, just as it had before. Even then she's still thinking positive. But now she has people who can keep her safe, protect her- not that she needs protecting; Evianna Elbourne can very much take care of herself! But in this new world of hers, can she find peace and happiness despite the ongoing threat that threatens to tear her World apart?

I've often wondered what a civilisation would actually look like. I mean a real civilisation, not what passes for one on this planet. One that was comprised of intelligent and capable beings, who actually worked together and were basically decent. What would life be like? How would people act, what would their goals be, what challenges could they possibly have to face? That is the basis of this story. A great empire spanning galaxies and surviving hundreds of thousands of years, comprised of the kind of people stated above. Is it possible for people to be sane...?
