When I became a fifth year cadet, the first deep space vessel launched. The entire world it seemed was on edge waiting for Nomad 1 to contact us and tell us the wonders of deep space, alas that was never to occur. One year after the launch of Nomad 1 I graduated top of my class. As a result, I received the great honor of being the first woman assigned to a deep space vessel, Nomad 2. With still no contact from Nomad 1 we have no idea what we will find or even if we will survive. All we can do is take the same heading and hope it's not too late to save our comrades.
