"There shall only be one king and that king will be me" Azul said as he stood up. The story begins with 5 kingdoms Tabiall, Auburn, Carron, Wazna, and Spiander. But Azul the king of Auburn wanted to rule the throne of each village. The king of Tabiall also wanted the throne of each kingdom, and of course Wazna wanted to be the king of his village and Spiander wanted to be the king of his kingdom. But the king of the spire ruled by none but himself. His job was to go into each village and see if they agreed to accept the previous king of their kingdom as their new king. If they agreed, they were to do what he ordered, and if not, he had his own punishments."
The Sandbox is for all ages and needs no prior knowledge of the previous games in the series.
"Ten years have passed since the outbreak of the Great War. Now, under the guard of the Priestess Malisam, the two worlds of Gemworld and Etherworld are at peace. But the two worlds remain separated by a one-hundred-mile-wide tear in space known as the Prime Line. "The Taker", the dragon known as the Prime Taker, has vanished. All that is known of it is that it left Etherworld years ago and is presumed to have crossed into Gemworld during the Great War. The mage-king Ahmak, ruler of Etherworld, has petitioned a truce to allow the passage of a "repair crew" into Etherworld. But it is a delicate matter. Those sent to repair the great tear in the space-time have the potential to destabilize the peace. The crew are warned to take every precaution against the Taker, who in his past was known to take one of the crew to his dark side.
That crew would be Ahmak, who discovers one such crew member trapped in his own mind.
The guards are sent to restore the mage-king."
The beauty of the game lies in its unique strategy elements. Where you would expect to have dice in an RPG and roll out rolls, the game is where you roll on charts that are more than dice. Every action you take has a chance of success or failure. Story begins.
