Cale's life ended on the day demons had finally perished from the world. He and other people who died appeared between two sides- Heaven and Hell, he immediately walked to the opposite of heaven and passed the hashiras, happily chattering with each other. He doesn't deserve to go to heaven, not after killing his family and humans whom he had killed whilst in Muzan's control. He was just about to enter the gates of the burning hell when he appeared in a God's space, God of death to be precise.
