This novel is a fantasy reimagining of Radha-Krishna's story, set in a world divided into three realms: the Deva loka, the Manava loka, and the Asura loka.
After the power hungry Asuras with superhuman strength waged a war on the Devas with supernatural abilities, the ones who suffered the most were the trite Manavas. The conflict began as small battles that developed into fires so rapid and vast that heavens were ignited before Manavas realised what was happening. The Asura beasts raged, and the divine Devas retaliated. Kingdoms reduced to rubble. Oceans boiled where fire met storm. Mountains cracked and time itself lost its linear path. Whatever short life the Manavas led filled with desperation, so they begged the heavens for mercy. And in a breath, Bramha, the Creator, split the world into three lokas.
Divides between the lokas exist for a reason. The Devas and their supernatural abilities are ineffective in the Asura loka, and the supernatural strength of the Asuras is minified in the Deva loka. Left is the neutral territory of the Manava loka. For the Asuras to conquer and the Devas to protect.
Now, king of the Asuras, Kans, is adamant on creating an army of hybrids that'll be indestructible in all the three lokas. Radha, Krishna, Bal, Vathi, Sheel, and Dama must navigate thier fundamental differences to protect humanity, whilst friendships are formed and tested, bonds deepen and wither, and beliefs are reconstructed.
