Liv is a twelve-year-old Norwegian princess. She and her family love to help the poor, give toys to the orphans, and build homes and care for the homeless. That all changes one day, when a rebellion happens. Liv and her family are scattered and forced to flee. Liv flees to the forest with her sister, Freya, and cousin, Katherine. As they face many strange events, they try to sort out who overthrew them and who they would be. Will their life ever be the same again?

Heatherstar, the Windclan leader who has deemed tunneling is unsafe and has made the decision to try to erase the role of tunneling forever. This story also follows Plumclaw, a young tunneler who isn't going to let her future just be crushed. What will happen? I sure hope you stay to find out!

Boom! Boom! I hear a bomb explode. My family and close friends huddle around me. The revolt has been going on for awhile now. It seems that its ending soon though. No one's come to get us yet. Mum and Dad left to check and have never come back. "Sarah?" my close friend, Ben, calls "yes?" I answer "I'm scared" "we all are, Ben" I hear a creak and then a loud crash. Light streamsbin through the entrance. A head peers in. "Mum?" I ask the head shakes "no I'm not your mother" a feminine voice says "but I'm glad you all are alive"
