Sam is having a rough return after leaving his last tour in the Army as a very successful sniper. With his choice going against his powerful father's wishes he joins SRU's Team One where he is challenged and tested in new ways. While trying to fit in, learn to not be a solider and deal with his father, Sam must fight his strange and powerful attraction to one of his teammates. Despite being an Alpha, Sam must control his baser instincts and learn to be a good team mate rather destroy his new career before it even begins but giving in to his feelings and instincts.

The life of an SRU officer is never easy, especially when you're the best profiler in the city's daughter and join Team One. Along side Sam, Jules, Spike, Ed, and Taylor's father, Greg Parker, the team take on many hot calls, not all of them a piece of cake. She also balances alongside work, her relationship with Spike Scarlatti.

The SRU get a call about a hostage situation. When they arrive they discover that it's a father holding his daughter hostage. They must do everything try can to get the girl out. The next day, they get another call and the suspect is Alice. Just when they think they have it handled: things go south. I am a huge flashpoint fan and I'm obsessed with Sam Braddock. This specific fan fic is a Sam whump. I am a clean person so this fic won't have any dirty language.
