A companion novella to The Shadow Wars. In the farthest reaches of space lies an isolated mining planet called Dis: on the way to nowhere and in the middle of nowhere, it is of little importance to anyone but those occupying it. In the polar regions of the planet a handful of research and support sites reside, carving out a miserable existence among the frozen wastelands, eternally shrieking winds, and subzero temperatures. Here sits Frost Station. A cobbled-together research outpost that is home to a mere handful of personnel. Two months into a six month haul, these people are all out here for a reason. Some have been exiled, others have imposed their own. For John Marshall, the job is a break from a world he no longer feels capable of coping with. Counting on the bland monotony of boredom and routine to keep his lack of faith in himself at bay, he's happy to deal with the everyday problems of maintaining a distant outpost. But all this comes to a disastrous halt when a ship crashes just outside the base, right about the same time their communications mysteriously fail. As they pull bodies from the wreckage and try to solve the enigma of what happened, it becomes clear that something has gone horribly wrong when the only survivor from the wreck dies, then comes back to life...

My friend has been living in an alternate reality for the past 7 years and this is what he told me.

In a distant future, there lived a peaceful lifeform on Earth, titled humanity, who thrived on trading, cultivating and lying. And almost like a sign from God, a superior life form shot down with a strange urgency, and they set their sights on them. Many prayed, hid and waited for it to end. But it felt like it never would, so all I was left with was the instincts to survive and hopefully outlive this otherworldly punishment.

We did not kill the planet, we made it nearly uninhabitable. The few surviving societies of humanity begin to recover from an extinction level threat, but as their numbers grow they realize there isn't enough land to support them. In an attempt to solve this problem the "Expansion Project" is created. The Expansion Project is an attempt to rectify the population density issue by dispersing their people within livable underground spaces. With tons of materials harvested and living space growing every day, thus far, the project has been a solid success. Young excavator and engineer Peter McKenna is going about his business as usual. Leaving the towering streets of Littleton, New Colorado, as he and his co-workers descend fifteen kilometers down the mouth of the mine. Together they carve deeper and deeper into the Earth's crust only to discover what secrets lie within the deep biosphere unseen by human eyes.

The audio log of a spaceship's crew member is discovered, recording the last session that they had while floating through space, soaking in the aftermath of an attack from the gene-editing harvesters. Now, he can only hope his dying words will offer insight and serve as a warning into what happened. Natural Cosmos is July's short story that brings readers into the expanding Harvesters / Scrappers sci-fi horror universe. This one is directly related to the Transmit short story from February.

The concluding chapter in the Scrappers storyline. Follow Angie and Ruggy as they make their grand escape from the stalking Harvesters. The two have a hell of a lot of questions for their operator when they get back to base, presuming they make it out of The Lost alive. this is a mini project for my ELA class, and since i havent updated my story "till death do ud part ( again) i figured id give yall this to read while i find time to work on it.

after being inactive on wattpad for a long time, I eventually decided to return and see what was new. but as I was scrolling, I got an idea. I looked up some popular books, including jurassic park. but i only found fanfics, understandable. it is a fanfiction website. but I thought this. if wattpad is a reading website, then shouldn't it have the official books too? so i decided to bring michael crichton's prehistoric nightmare to the wattpad community. mostly cause i have nothing better to do now that school is almost over for me. UPDATE: I came back one night to see what was new, after being gone for like a year. And I realised I had a lot of unpublished drafts for this book, So if anybody actully read this and was waiting for more updates, then its your lucky day. =) P.S this is not my story, its michael crichton's.
