This story is about the daughter of Remus Lupin. She is a half-werewolf. Her mother died after a run in with a deatheater. But the healers were able to save Remi, who was born nearly a whole month to early. Remus was devastated at the loose of his finance, as they planned to marry after their daughter was born. He shows bravery during battle, even while injured, and helps secure their position. After the war ends, James reflects on his service with pride and gratitude for serving his country and bringing peace.
